Exposed to the San Francisco HOUSE scene in 1994, Jamie Ayers :aka: DJ Swing wanted to put his own signature on the scene and in early 1995, set out to do just that.
Combining elements of Chicago House along with the Tech, Funky, and Deep House sounds of San Francisco, Swing began playing for numerous underground and major warehouse parties around the bay area and quickly gained a name for himself amongst his peers. This led him on a path to his first out of state booking and NorthWest debut along side DJ Donald Glaude at the Kitsap Pavillion in Washington. He immediately became a NorthWest favorite and continued to be flown out to play at various Seattle, Washington venues over the years to come.
Since then he’s also played in Honolulu, various Humboldt County venues, and of course, all around the San Francisco Bay Area underground and club scene.
Swing is also co-founder of the event production crew AudioTramps and his newest venture SeoulSwing Productions. With the involvement of fellow DJ/Producer and promoter friends, they've been doing their own events that continue to bring out known Producers across the globe. Still busy as a DJ and Event Promoter, look out for tracks in 2011 as Swing adds 'Producer' to his name.
